Board and Train

Most dog training requires you to practice 30-45 minutes every single day. Miss a few sessions and your dog regresses. Have a busy week and training falls apart. It's exhausting, and most people don't have the time or energy to stay consistent.

That's the problem Board and Train solves.

Your dog stays with us for 2-8 weeks of immersive, structured training. We handle everything. Daily training sessions, consistency, distractions, problem-solving. When your dog comes home, the hard work is already done. We just teach you how to maintain it.

And for busy households, we make it even easier. We pick up your dog from your door and return them when training is complete. No driving to St. Agatha. No disrupting your schedule. We come to you.

Dog Training for Cambridge, Ontario

Cambridge dogs get the full Noble K9 training program, built around real obedience and behaviour that holds up in the places you actually go. We work with dogs from every corner of the city: Preston, Hespeler, Galt, the older streets near Main and Water, and the newer subdivisions out by the 401 corridor. Whether your dog pulls hard on the Grand River trails, reacts to other dogs at Riverside Park, or cannot settle when you have company, the patterns we see in Cambridge are consistent and fixable.

The training runs out of our St. Agatha facility on private acreage, about 20 minutes northwest of Cambridge. For board-and-train clients, your dog lives and trains with us for 2 to 8 weeks of immersive, structured work, and that full immersion is exactly what makes the results stick. For Cambridge families who prefer to stay closer to home, we also offer day training and private sessions, with door-to-door pickup available across the city.

Cambridge is also the one community where we do more than train. Our dedicated boarding facility is located right here in the city, so if you ever need boarding alongside training, it is the shortest drive of any city we serve. Boarding is offered only at our Cambridge location. See Cambridge Dog Boarding.

Real-World Obedience for Cambridge Life

A dog that behaves in a quiet living room but falls apart at the Cambridge Farmers' Market has not really learned anything. Our balanced approach is built around reliability in the places you actually go: busy sidewalks downtown, the trails at Shade's Mills Conservation Area, the patios along Grand Avenue in summer, and the car rides to the vet. We train for distraction, not for a controlled bubble.

Cambridge sees plenty of off leash interaction at spots like Dumfries Conservation Area and the city's leash free zones. If your dog cannot be recalled reliably, or guards toys and food around other dogs, that is exactly the kind of behaviour we address through clear communication and consistent structure, not quick fixes that fade in a month.

Behaviour Rehabilitation and Reactivity

Many Cambridge owners come to us after another trainer told them their dog was too much. Reactivity, leash aggression, resource guarding, and anxiety are the cases we specialize in. Dogs working through serious behavioural issues get individualized, one on one care in the calm, controlled environment at our St. Agatha facility, where the immersive routine is what gives an anxious or reactive dog the consistency it needs to change.

We do not just hand your dog back and wish you luck. Every program ends with an owner coaching session, so you understand the commands, the timing, and the daily structure that keep results holding long after training ends. That owner education piece is the reason our results last, and it is part of why more than 5,950 dogs have come through our programs.

Serving Cambridge and the Surrounding Area

Cambridge sits at the heart of Waterloo Region, so we regularly train dogs for families who split their time between here and nearby communities. Wherever you are, the program, the trainers, and the standards are the same.
