What support do you provide after training is complete?

Training is a process, and we want you to feel confident long after your last session.

We’ll make sure you have clear homework, handling guidance, and the next steps to keep progress moving forward.

  • Transition coaching so skills work at home
  • Follow-up options for proofing around distractions
  • Ongoing guidance when new challenges come up
Do you sell trained protection dogs? What’s the process?

Yes. Through Noble Protection Dogs, we select, train, and place high-quality working dogs for personal and family protection, security, and professional roles.

Our process focuses on matching the right dog to the right home, and training you to work in sync with your K9 partner.

  • Consultation to understand needs, lifestyle, and experience
  • Matching + demonstration of the dog’s training level
  • Handler training and ongoing support after placement
What should I pack for boarding or Board & Train?

We’ll provide a program-specific packing list, but the key is keeping things simple and consistent for your dog.

If your dog has special dietary needs or medications, please include clear instructions.

  • Your dog’s food (enough for the full stay)
  • Any medications + written instructions
  • Proof of required vaccines
How do drop-off and pick-up work for boarding or Board & Train?

Drop-off and pick-up are scheduled so we can keep transitions calm and organized.

We’ll confirm timing, what to bring, and any handling notes before your dog arrives.

  • Scheduled drop-off/pick-up to support safety and routine
  • Clear instructions provided before arrival
  • Communication for updates and next steps
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand life happens. If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible so we can offer that slot to another client.

Your booking confirmation will include the exact terms (and any applicable fees) for your program type.

  • Provide notice early whenever possible
  • Policies can differ for privates, groups, and boarding programs
  • Check your confirmation email for program-specific details
Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Yes—financing options are available for qualifying customers so you can spread payments over time.

Details and eligibility are provided during checkout/booking, and terms may vary based on the provider.

  • Pay over time with monthly payments (where available)
  • Eligibility and terms are provider-dependent
  • Ask our team if you’re not sure what applies to your program
Do you offer online training?

Yes. We offer online training via Zoom for clients who aren’t local or who want ongoing coaching between sessions.

Online coaching works best when you can share videos and practice consistently in your dog’s real environment.

  • Zoom sessions with coaching and clear homework
  • Great for follow-ups, problem-solving, and handling skills
  • Works anywhere you have a stable internet connection
What should I do when I arrive at the facility?

Please park in the designated area and walk to the training building (the large metal building with Noble K9 signage).

For everyone’s safety, keep your dog secure and under control. If you’re unsure, keep your dog in your vehicle and ask a trainer for help.

  • Go to the training building (not the house/kennel)
  • Keep your dog leashed and secure
  • Ask a trainer for assistance if needed
What should I bring to my training session?

We’ll give you a recommended checklist based on your program, but a few basics are almost always helpful.

If you’re unsure, bring what you have—our team can help you choose the right setup for your dog.

  • A regular leash and a flat collar (or harness)
  • High-value treats (if food-motivated)
  • Your dog’s favourite toy (if toy-motivated)
How long are training sessions?

Most private sessions are approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the dog and the training focus.

Group classes and assessments can vary slightly, and we’ll confirm timing when you book.

  • Private lessons: typically 45–60 minutes
  • Sessions are paced to keep dogs engaged and learning well
  • Homework guidance included so you know what to practice
How does the evaluation/assessment work?

Your evaluation is a chance for us to understand your dog, your goals, and what’s happening day-to-day.

We’ll look at behaviour, obedience, handling, and temperament, then recommend a clear plan forward.

  • Discuss goals, history, and current challenges
  • Observe behaviour and handling in real time
  • Get a program recommendation with next steps
What is Day Training (Noble Day Train)?

Day Training is a drop-off training option where your dog trains with our team during the day and goes home with you afterward.

It’s a great fit if you want professional training reps, without your dog staying overnight.

  • Professional training during the day
  • Ideal for busy schedules or skill-building between lessons
  • Owner coaching to transfer results to home life
What is Structured Boarding and what’s included?

Structured Boarding is more than just a kennel stay—it’s a routine-based environment designed to support calm behaviour and good habits.

Your dog’s daily schedule is built around safety, stability, and clear handling, with optional enrichment or training add-ons.

  • Consistent routines and structured handling
  • Safe management for a wide range of temperaments
  • Optional training add-ons for extra progress
Can you board my dog without training?

Yes—structured boarding is available even if you’re not enrolling in a training program.

We maintain clear routines and management to keep dogs safe, calm, and cared for during their stay.

  • Structured, supervised care
  • Available for many dogs, including those with behavioural challenges
  • Optional add-on training sessions if desired
What is Board & Train, and how long does it take?

Board & Train means your dog stays with us and trains daily with our team, then we transition the results back to you with coached handoff sessions.

Program length varies based on your goals, your dog’s baseline skills, and behaviour history.

  • Most programs run 2–4 weeks (goal-dependent)
  • Daily training, structured routines, and accountability
  • Owner coaching included for long-term success
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?

Yes. We routinely work with dogs struggling with reactivity, fear, leash aggression, and more serious behavioural challenges.

Safety comes first, so we’ll start with an assessment and create a structured plan that addresses your dog’s triggers and teaches reliable handling skills.

  • Behavioural modification + obedience foundations
  • Management strategies for safety at home and in public
  • Clear progress steps and realistic expectations
Is my dog too old to be trained?

No—age is not a deal-breaker. Dogs can learn new skills at any stage of life.

We’ll adjust expectations and training pace based on mobility, energy levels, and prior learning history.

  • Training can improve quality of life at any age
  • We tailor intensity and duration for senior dogs
  • Consistency at home makes a big difference
What training tools do you use (prong collars, e-collars, treats, etc.)?

The tools we use depend on your dog’s needs, your goals, and what helps your dog learn most clearly.

We’ll explain any tool we recommend, teach you how to use it safely, and ensure it’s appropriate for your dog.

  • Common tools: slip leads, toys, food rewards
  • When needed: prong collars and e-collars (introduced carefully)
  • Focus on clarity, safety, and confidence—not force
What vaccines/health requirements are needed to attend training or boarding?

For the safety of all dogs, we require up-to-date core vaccines and preventative care.

Please bring proof from your vet (or email it ahead of time) so we can confirm your dog is cleared to participate.

  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Distemper & Parvo
  • Tick medication (when in season)
Which program is best: private sessions, group classes, or Board & Train?

It depends on your schedule, goals, and how quickly you need change. We’ll recommend the option that matches your dog and your lifestyle.

Board & Train is often the fastest route to reliable change, while private sessions and small groups work well when you want to be hands-on throughout.

  • Board & Train: fastest results + owner coaching included
  • Private lessons: flexible scheduling and calm learning environment
  • Group classes: reliability around distractions (small groups)
What training methods do you use?

We tailor training to your dog’s temperament, learning style, and goals. Our focus is building a strong relationship and a clear communication system between you and your dog.

We use a balanced approach that blends structure, engagement, and motivation—so your dog understands what to do, even around distractions.

  • Customized plans (no one-size-fits-all)
  • Clear communication and consistency
  • Practical “real life” training, not just drills
What areas do you serve?

We primarily serve the Kitchener–Waterloo region and surrounding communities.

If you’re outside our local area, we can often help through online coaching, or by recommending the best program based on your goals.

  • Local: Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph + nearby
  • Board & Train options for clients traveling in
  • Online training via Zoom for remote clients
How old does my dog need to be to start training?

We train dogs of all ages, but certain programs have minimum age requirements to keep training safe and effective.

If you’re unsure which program fits your dog’s age and development stage, we’ll guide you through the best next step.

  • Puppy class: minimum 8 weeks
  • Puppy Board & Train: minimum 4 months
  • Protection training / e-collar programs: minimum 6 months
Do you guarantee results?

Yes—our goal is clear, measurable improvement in your dog’s behaviour and obedience.

Long-term results depend on follow-through at home, so we focus on training your dog and coaching you with the skills to maintain progress.

  • We aim for real-world reliability, not just “in the facility” success
  • Owner education is built into the process
  • Ongoing support is available after your program
