On-Leash Obedience

On-Leash Obedience Group Class is designed for dogs who need structure, clear communication, and the kind of training that actually works in real life. If your dog pulls on leash, ignores basic commands, or becomes unmanageable the moment you step outside, this class gives you the tools to change that.

You'll work alongside other dog owners facing the same challenges, which means your dog learns to obey commands even when other dogs, people, and distractions are present. This built-in distraction work is what makes group classes so effective. Your dog doesn't just learn to sit at home when nothing is happening. They learn to sit and stay while another dog walks past, while people move around them, and while their instincts are telling them to react.

Each week builds on the last. You'll start with foundation obedience commands like sit, down, place, and stay, then progress to loose leash walking, reliable recall in controlled environments, and impulse control exercises that reduce jumping, barking, and overexcitement. Our trainers coach you through proper handling, timing, and correction techniques so you can maintain the training at home.

This class requires commitment. You'll need to practice 30-45 minutes daily between sessions to see real progress. But if you're willing to put in the work, you'll leave with a dog that's easier to manage at home, on walks, and in public. No more fighting with your dog every time you clip the leash on. No more embarrassment when guests come over. Just a calmer, more obedient dog that fits into your life instead of disrupting it.

Dogs who complete this program have the foundation needed to transition into advanced off-leash training or simply enjoy being a well-mannered companion in everyday situations.

What Makes Our Group Classes Effective

Small Class Sizes
We never exceed 4-5 dogs per class. This ensures every dog gets individual attention, trainers can coach each handler effectively, and the environment stays controlled and safe.

Built-In Distraction Work
Other dogs in class provide the exact distractions your dog will face in real life. Your dog learns to obey commands regardless of what's happening around them.

Progressive Curriculum
Each week builds on the last. We don't repeat the same exercises for six weeks. We progress systematically towards reliable, real-world obedience.

Professional Trainers
Our trainers have years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. You're not learning from a pet owner who took a weekend course. You're learning from professionals who do this every day.

Accountability and Support
Weekly sessions keep you consistent. You'll have homework, clear goals, and a support system of other owners working through the same challenges.

Real-Time Feedback
Trainers observe your handling in real-time and provide immediate corrections. You'll learn proper timing, technique, and how to read your dog's body language.

We’ll provide a program-specific packing list, but the key is keeping things simple and consistent for your dog.

If your dog has special dietary needs or medications, please include clear instructions.

  • Your dog’s food (enough for the full stay)
  • Any medications + written instructions
  • Proof of required vaccines
What is Day Training (Noble Day Train)?

Day Training is a drop-off training option where your dog trains with our team during the day and goes home with you afterward.

It’s a great fit if you want professional training reps, without your dog staying overnight.

  • Professional training during the day
  • Ideal for busy schedules or skill-building between lessons
  • Owner coaching to transfer results to home life
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?

Yes. We routinely work with dogs struggling with reactivity, fear, leash aggression, and more serious behavioural challenges.

Safety comes first, so we’ll start with an assessment and create a structured plan that addresses your dog’s triggers and teaches reliable handling skills.

  • Behavioural modification + obedience foundations
  • Management strategies for safety at home and in public
  • Clear progress steps and realistic expectations
Is my dog too old to be trained?

No—age is not a deal-breaker. Dogs can learn new skills at any stage of life.

We’ll adjust expectations and training pace based on mobility, energy levels, and prior learning history.

  • Training can improve quality of life at any age
  • We tailor intensity and duration for senior dogs
  • Consistency at home makes a big difference
What training methods do you use?

We tailor training to your dog’s temperament, learning style, and goals. Our focus is building a strong relationship and a clear communication system between you and your dog.

We use a balanced approach that blends structure, engagement, and motivation—so your dog understands what to do, even around distractions.

  • Customized plans (no one-size-fits-all)
  • Clear communication and consistency
  • Practical “real life” training, not just drills
